Terms of service

These terms are a contract between you and RG DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES S.R.L., Targu Jiu, Romania ("RGPixel", "we"). They govern your use of the RGPixel image conversion service. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

The service

  • RGPixel converts images you upload into SVG, PNG, WebP and AVIF formats, lets you edit colors live in the studio, and exports the results at multiple sizes.
  • Converted images are stored in a private library attached to your account so you can re-open, re-edit and re-export them.
  • You can try a limited demo conversion without an account; an account is required to keep a library and to use paid features.

Plans, limits and fair use

  • Free: 5 conversions per month, library items retained for 30 days.
  • Pro: €9/month or €90/year — 200 conversions per month, permanent library retention while your subscription and account are active.
  • Business: €29/month or €290/year — unlimited conversions under fair use, permanent retention, and API access with 5,000 API calls per month.
  • Fair use: 'unlimited' means reasonable human usage of the product. We reserve the right to throttle or limit automated, scripted or otherwise abusive usage patterns that degrade the service for others. The API has its own explicit monthly call limit.
  • Current limits per plan are shown on the pricing page; the limits in force for your account are the ones displayed at the time of purchase or renewal.

Billing and renewal

  • Paid plans are subscriptions billed through Stripe. They renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled.
  • You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you keep paid features until then. See the Refund policy for withdrawal rights.
  • Prices are shown at checkout. If we change prices, the new price applies from your next renewal and we will notify you in advance.

Your content

  • You keep all rights to the images you upload and to the converted results — see the Licensing page for details.
  • You are responsible for the images you upload: you confirm that you own them or have the necessary rights, and that they are not unlawful.
  • We may remove content and suspend accounts that upload illegal material or infringe third-party rights.

Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to circumvent plan limits (e.g. by automating the web app, creating multiple free accounts, or sharing one account across a team on a per-seat basis).
  • Do not probe, overload or disrupt the service, and do not use the API beyond your plan's limits or resell API access.
  • Do not upload malware or content that is illegal in Romania or in your jurisdiction.

Accounts

  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraud, abuse or material breach of these terms. Where reasonable, we will warn you first.
  • You can delete your account at any time; deletion removes your library as described in the Privacy policy.

Warranty and liability

  • The service is provided 'as is'. We work hard on conversion quality (including a mathematical pixel-perfect guarantee on exact SVG output for supported inputs), but we do not warrant that the service is uninterrupted or error-free.
  • To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes and governing law

  • We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email to registered users before they take effect; continued use after that means acceptance.
  • These terms are governed by Romanian law. EU consumers also benefit from the mandatory protections of their country of residence. Disputes are subject to the competent Romanian courts, without prejudice to consumers' rights to sue in their home jurisdiction.
