Terms of sale and use

1. Who we are

RG-DesktopLink is made and sold by RG DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES S.R.L., CUI 52249706, registered office Strada Valentin Merișescu nr. 33A, Târgu-Jiu, județul Gorj, România, e-mail support@rgpixel.com ("we"), the company behind RG Screens. More on the company page.

2. The program and the licence

• RG-DesktopLink is free to download and to use, with all its functions, for two PCs on one office desk (the main PC and one more).
• A licence adds PCs to that desk: the number bought, once, with no time limit and no subscription. One licence key is for one office: the PCs controlled by one main PC.
• The licence is a right to use the program; the program stays ours. You may not sell, publish or share the key with other offices, nor change the program to get around the number of PCs. A key that is published or shared may stop working in later versions.
• Updates of the 1.x versions are included. A later major version (2.0) may ask an upgrade price; the version you have keeps working.

3. Prices and payment

• Prices are shown in euro on the buy page and are final. No VAT is added: the seller is not registered for VAT.
• You pay by card on the payment page of Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd.). Your card data goes to Stripe only; we never see it or keep it.
• The contract is made when Stripe confirms the payment. Stripe e-mails the receipt and the invoice to the address you give.

4. Delivery

The licence key is digital content. It is shown on screen right after the payment and sent to your e-mail address within minutes. If it does not come within an hour, write to us: we answer within one working day.

5. Right of withdrawal

A consumer may usually withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. For digital content delivered at once this right ends when delivery starts, if you agreed to it beforehand: on the payment page you are asked to agree that the key is delivered right away and that you then lose the right of withdrawal (Directive 2011/83/EU, art. 16(m); OUG 34/2014, art. 16 lit. m). Without that agreement the payment cannot be made. Businesses buying for their trade have no right of withdrawal.

6. If the licence does not work

The program and the key must work as described on this site. If the key is refused, or a licensed PC cannot be used because of the program, write to us: we fix it, send a new key or, if neither is possible, refund the price. This does not limit the rights consumers have by law for digital content that does not conform (Directive (EU) 2019/770; OUG 141/2021).

7. Responsibility

The program controls PCs on your network: use it on PCs you are allowed to use, keep your office key secret and install updates. We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, by a shared office key, or by other programs. Except where the law does not allow it (harm to life or health, intent, gross negligence, the mandatory rights of consumers), our responsibility is limited to the price paid for the licence.

9. Complaints and disputes

• Write to support@rgpixel.com: we answer within one working day and solve complaints within 15 days.
• Consumers can also turn to the Romanian consumer authority ANPC, or to alternative dispute resolution (SAL).
• These terms are under Romanian law. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where they live. Disputes go to the competent courts of Romania, or of the consumer's home, as the law provides.

10. Changes

We may change these terms for future purchases; a purchase stays under the terms in force on the day it was made.
